Pricing
To generate images you spend tokens. They're a predictable estimate of the compute time required. Cost is based on:
- Resolution of the image or selection
- Strength (number of sampling steps)
- Workflow (generate, live, upscale)
A typical Live image costs 1 token (~0.002 €). To generate an image at 1024x1024 resolution costs 5 tokens (~0.01 €).
Generating an image is not a fixed cost. Depending on inputs an image can take less than a second or several minutes to generate. This directly influences the cost of GPU resources.
Tokens do not expire.

Privacy & Security
No input images are stored or used for anything other than generating the result images as requested by the user. No results are stored. Temporary storage may be required for transfer of large images.
All transfer and communication with the server uses an encrypted (SSL/TLS) connection.
Ownership (IP)
All images generated using this service are owned by the user who generated them. The service does not claim any rights to the images.
Transparency
Image Metadata
Images generated by Interstice.cloud carry metadata when exported directly with the Krita plugin result history. Unless explicitly enabled by the user, metadata only contains a single tag which marks the image as AI-generated. It does not contain any information about the user, the prompt, image content or how the image was generated. Metadata does not visibly alter the image.

Watermark
Images generated by Interstice.cloud include an invisible watermark which can identify the image in the absence of metadata. Watermarks carry a single short tag which ties them to this service. It does not embed any information about the user or image content.
Watermarks are only applied for customers in the EU in compliance with the EU AI Act.
